NOS Tungsram 12AX7
Great sounding tube for all applications.
Made in Hungary. These are a virtual dead on hit for the tone of RCA 12AX7s. Highly recommended in Fenders, Marshalls, clones and audiophile equipment. Various labels and boxes including National (labeled "Made in England), United, Amperex, Haltron, etc. "Mike - I put the Tungsram 12AX7's in and you were right - the tone is very similar to RCA's. I currently have RCA power tubes, so I think I'm ok in that department, for now. I'll definitely keep the Brimar's in mind, though. Thanks for your help. I plugged just one in the Juke 1210 in V1 and MAAAAAN.... What a difference! My Juke amp is THE BEST amp I have ever played through... But, just 1... ONE tube made it oh so much MORE of goodness!!!! I aint BSing, MAN! Hell, its even a purdee tube to look at! What is that tiny square foil looking thing inside??? I will be buying a few more of those cool tubes very soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gerry"
