NOS JAN Philips 6L6WGB ***STOCK IS RUNNING LOW!***
Sorry, these are sold out but we found JAN Sylvania 6L6WGBs which are the earlier version of the same tube, AND at a lower price!
Last Pairs in stock! CLOSELY MATCHED! Sold in white boxes. Original boxes moldy/dry rotted.
BEST PRICE ON THE WEB! These work great in old Fenders requiring 5881's or 6L6's. Good substitute in 6L6GC amps where less headroom (breakup at lower volumes) is desired. Also make great replacements in Fender Deluxe's where more clean headroom is desired. Just plug into your Deluxe and re-bias, no circuit changes required. Excellent choice for most 6L6GC amps if you'd like a little less clean headroom. These hold up well in amps with plate voltage up to 470 volts.
Perfect in Bassmans, Vibroluxes, Pro Reverbs, UniValves, BiValves, Emery Super Babys, and most new production Fender amps.
"Hey thanks for the tubes.
The JAN6L6WGB's wow they sound great in my wife's JTM45 RI
So much better than those nationals that were in there."
What a difference the JAN Phillips 6L6WGB made in my 59 Bassman Ltd! I now believe that NOS make a real huge change.
Just wanted to thank you for the recommendations to retube my '74 Twin Reverb (that you sent me last week). Really like the Jan Phillips 6L6WGB dynamics....creamy punch....so tight but warm!! You are awesome...and your reputation well deserved! FWIW.....I found you on TGP. You rock!!!
Put a set of these in my Celtic 5F6-A and ithe difference over the new production 5881's (Tung Sol Russia) is rather impressive. I'm running them with a 5U4 at 438v biased a bit over 70%.
